CBTL - koniec! CBTL - finished!

Skończyłam fantastyczną chustę Crochet Between the Lines. Zajęła mi ok. 6 tygodni. Przejścia kolorystyczne włóczki dają niesamowity efekt, choć nie wszystkie kolory wyobrażałam sobie w ten sposób. Miejscami widać, gdzie włóczka zmienia kolor, gdyż w tym miejscu pojawia się fuzzbuzz (nie jest to supeł, po prostu grubsza i włochata część włóczki), ale trzeba się przyjrzeć. Chusta nie jest jeszcze dobrze zblokowana - zabrakło mi szpilek i czekam na dostawę. 

Tak, to ta sama chusta! Po lewej jest niezblokowana, po prawej już trochę naciągnięta. Zdjęcie po prawej lepiej oddaje kolory.

I've finished a fantastic shawl - Crochet Between the Lines. It took me about 6 weeks. The colour changes of the yarn look amazing although I had envisioned some of the colours differently. There are place where you can see the spot of the colour change beacue there's a fuzzbuzz (it's not a knot, just a thick and hairy spot in the yarn) but you have to look carefully. The shawl isn't blocked properly yet - I ran out of pins and I'm awaiting delivery.

W zeszłym roku napisałam post o rzeczach, które planuję wykonać. Przyszedł czas na kolejny punkt - koc Last Dance on the Beach. Jest to Crochet-A-Long (CAL) sponsorowany przez firmę Scheepjes, z 2016 roku. Zestawy kolorystyczne sugerowane przez autorów CALa są w tej chwili dość trudno dostępne (można oczywiście samodzielnie dodawać włóczkę pojedynczo do koszyka lub stworzyć własny zestaw - ale kto ma na to czas?). Na szczęście facebookowa grupa Scheepjes CALi jest pomocna i otrzymałam link do sklepu w Holandii, które takie zestawy wciąż ma w ofercie. Zamówiłam i w ciągu kilku dni miałam paczkę u siebie w domu. Oprócz włóczki, sklep dodał też kilka gratisów: metki do ubrań (jedną materiałową, drugą jakby skórzaną), aplikację - kwiatek, dwie zawieszki - motek włóczki i wiatrak, brelok do kluczy z holenderskim drewniakiem i wizytówkę sklepu z pozdrowieniami. Bardzo sympatyczne.

Last year I wrote a post about projects I plan to make. It's time for one from the list - the Last Dance on the Beach blanket. It's a Crochet-A-Long (CAL) sponsored by Scheepjes brand; it's from 2016. The colour kits suggested by the designers aren't easily available anymore (of course, you can add each ball of yarn individually to your cart, or create your own colour kit - but who has the time?). Thankfully, the Scheepjes CAL group on facebook is a helpful bunch and someone sent me a link to a shop in the Netherlands that still has the kits in stock. I ordered the one I wanted and within a few days I had the parcel at home. Apart from the yarn, the shop sent me a few freebies: clothing label (one made of fabric and one kind of like of leather), a flower applique, two tags / pendants - a ball of yarn and a windmill, a keyring with a Dutch clog and the shop's business card with a few nice word. Really nice.
